There are few experiences in life that are as terrifying as becoming a parent. With a huge array of advice from books and family members it can be hard to know what to do for the best. Our workshops are tailored towards groups of parents having a small amount of time together to discuss both the challenges and successes. Sessions can include some structured information sharing such as: supporting your child’s social skills, managing your child’s behaviour, understanding medical conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, dealing with conflict, managing sibling rivalry.
Parents can request private consultations around specific challenges they are facing, how they would like to think about resolving them, strategies that they are happy to try and routes to move forward. Support can be given in the home situation if required.
The structure of these sessions is very much a no-blame approach, and about moving forward positively with your children.
