Teaching and working with young people is one of the most rewarding careers possible. At times it can also be very stressful and demanding. In order to enable our young people to be effective learners we have to keep up to date with the latest research and guidance about what works, and then often try to make it fit in an education system. Training for teachers shouldn’t be about doing more quantity…it’s about doing it more effectively, about understanding the theory about what you are trying to achieve.
